By the way, the idea to use the * in the N*sync logo came from a very unusual source. The band met up with psychic Uri Geller while they were in the U.K, and he advised the guys to put a star on their record to ensure its
success-looks like it worked! That's one psychic I'd carry on consulting.
This fact was reflected by 'N-SYNC's massive sales. Record shops sold out within hours of the first batch of albums arriving, and the huge sales pushed the album past the gold record mark virtually all across Europe, including making it a No.1 hit in Germany - in that country, there was no bigger band in 1997.
