David Bohm

David Bohm was educated at Pennsylvania State College and the University of
California, Berkeley. He studied under J. Robert Oppenheimer and researched
at the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory in Berkeley;
he held posts at the Institute of Advanced Study in Princeton, the University
of Sao Paolo and Haifa. David Bohm worked
with Albert Einstein while at the Institute for Advanced Study where he had many
discussions with Einstein. From 1961 he was Professor of Theoretical Physics at
Birkbeck College, London University, where he continued to contribute new ideas
until his death in 1994.
